All they wanted from me was to send an OTP request to 5676791 and then she will call again in 5 minutes. It seemed totally fishy to me, even yet I told them my address (I am a fool). God help me.

Today at 1:10PM I got a call from a stupid fellow from G V Creation and said New card updation with some free gifts which is free for only you, because you are using the card since very long so for you will get the new card in 8 working days. So i was busy at the movement and i have given some information about my card he said your card starts from .... I seriously thought it is from a company with tie up of SBI so i have given details. At the end of the call i again Again ask him. He said we are charging Rs.5599 for one year. I was shocked after Transaction details updated on Phone he said this... Immediately i was ask him to cancel the Discount card.
Now the Twist is he said without information how can you complete the details of the Transaction, and how can you agree to pay. I said you din't inform me, then he says it will be dispatch in 8 days and disconnect the call.. Beware of this Delhi Calls. Already they gather details about the person and card to sound authentic. All as said above, recived the call from +91 92131 00584. Initially started with the colour of my sbi card by a lady Arushi and then was told that I'm a valuable customer and would like to extend their 5 gifts viz.
1.30%Discount card, 2. Holiday package, 3. Gift Hamper, 4.cash back and 5.Health chekup. It sounded true enough . A onetime payment of 8999/- as government taxes. Package will arrive. But I Insisted that they send me this as an email about this promotion. Lady was SMART to transfer my call to Mr. DEVENDER KUMAR a senior manager. I can hear in the background that there is a call centre running for this scam. This fella said they were the promoters of VISA and MASTERCARD TO the commercial banks. I felt something fishy and just gave my name and asked them not to charge me as I am already exceeded overlimit on my credit cards..... this is where his dice rolled out...he said that I can make payment from debit card as well. He insisted for my mailing address.i reverted to him telling that you guys should have my mailing address as well as you are provided the data of customers from the bank.. and I refused to share the card details of my other banks for which he was asking for..thats it, I excused myself and said that my card billing cycle needs to be adjusted due to overlimt incidents to another date... (so that I can check for this related news on the net) Gosh!!!...im on it!! I firmly believe that my sbi card is at lax due to bank mismanagement, as I have separate number for my banking purposes.. But sbi is linked to a different mobile number.. by this it is evident that SBI is hand in glove indirectly by not taking concrete measures.... I think that I'm going to give this sbi bank a tight shot... which should fire them up...watchout guys don't ever share your confidential information. Thank -

Hello Al,today i got call from 09953646830,098289588803 from delhi saying i am the vip customer of SBI card and 7 gifts will be dispatched to you.He took me to IVR section and i entered all the card details.Luckily the IVR said this transaction is unauthorised.Then this guy on phone started asking about card details,to which i said i cant give.he then started forcing me.I believe he will be calling me again.In between the call i saw this post and it saved me.Thanks a lot for all your help.Now i will play with them

I got call GV creation from New Delhi from #01166549931.For further contact they gave me to contact on 011-47015200 from Mon to Saturday 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM .They told me that they will give one magic card 5% to 25% discount from every purchase except gold and petrol.And one excel card which will give discount of 10 to 20% on daily purchase Pizza hut,domino pizza food bazar,big bazar etc.. They will send it through First flight corrierimmediately and will reach to my address by 4 to 5 working day.For that card they told, more than 10,000 in india and more than 2000 outlets are thr in bangalore for getting discount 5% to 30% depending on the product.I have requested for 16 digit Card no and expired date.later they took my cvv no thorough manual typing on mobile.Also one time secure pin through phone as they are from Bank i belive and shared everything with them.They deducted 5799rs from my ICICI bank credit card.They told me to send welcome kids containing 4999/- gift watch,Holiday package for 2night/3days for 2kids below 5yrs and 2 adult.one compensate gift by paying 199/- out of 8 gifts whose cost is 1000 to 1500rs market price like Laptop bag,sun glass,shooe etc.This transaction made on 22nd oct 4pm towards Dhristhi Enterp,Newdelhi.How come shoping with GV creation but payment towards Dristhi Enterp.Now I blocked my credit card and waiting for the gift when it will reach to my house by first flight.

They are offering me some gifts and promotions.She asked me to tell the color in which the VISA/Mastercard logo was made for verification that he is talking to the right person. I told him that. Then he told me that they will send a gift hampers. That hamper contains a leather belt,vollet and a wrist watch and is worth Rs 3999. Then the second benefit was a VIP card from VISA which will give me 10% discount on various purchases for one year and the third and the most important benefit was a holiday voucher worth Rs 50000+. But as an esteemed customer they are giving it away to me for 8499.There I smelled a scam and started cross questioning him. Then She has disconnected the call. Her Number is +919211156357

Today I got calls from these two numbers +919205568394, +918527798270 respectively and they were rewarding me iPhone 6. They were from some telemarketing company situated in Delhi.Then they asked me to choose color of phone from four types of colors and then finally asked my full address. I gave them a wrong address and immediately I asked their company name but they were continuously refusing the question. They were insuring me that they working for Amazon and flipkart kind of companies and also insuring me that they will collect INR 4000 rupees by COD method only.So,I smelled it fraud (for sure) and didn't share my address. Be Careful.

I got a call from 7428323121 stating that they were from visa/MasterCard service division. They knew that I have been using hdfc credit card for sometime. The guy was too rude when i tried to avoid his call saying that i was not interested. When I disconnected call, he called me back asking how dare I call his company a fake one. Then I replied him back in the same language. He warned me that I would be charged rs 7050 in 10 min i challenged him to charge a single paise from my account. I never give any card details to anyone on phone ..... Never.... Even if my card gets cancelled, I won't mind....I can always get a new one.... Banks run behind me. Anyways, we should be careful from these thieves. Anything that comes free and is too good to be true is probably not true....

I got a similar call from a Ms Smriti from a number +911130961600.
I listened to her carefully. Without referring to this blog or any information a priory I disagreed availing of the discount card she was offering with One time Life time charge of Rs 7500.
I thought paying Rs 7500 upfront or on EMI basis (also offered for 12 month) for availing this card doesn't seem to be economical as not every merchandise would accept this card before swiping the main VISA/ MasterCard in order to get me 20% discount or the credit card issuing banks may dishonor the discount.
Now I got an idea how they are making fraudulent calls to trap credit card users. They have our credit card details and if anybody agrees taking this card and respond to their IVRS payment gateway facility might have got his/her Credit Card security codes cracked as well.
Please stay away from such fake calls.

Similar Context. Call from Delhi. +91-9213099947. They started off with matching colours. I felt something fishy. Told them I don't have the card right now and asked them to call me after a week and they absolutely had no problems with that (fishy again as they could easily pass the gifts to some one else). Anyway bought myself some time that way. Started Googling right after I disconnected the call. Reached this page. So confirmed that there is actually something fishy. Thank You all :)

Used the same lines, the exact same script (except for small changes in the offer providers' names). I let them run their course, knowing where it was heading. When I eventually countered that I couldn't validate their authenticity over the phone, he said that my CC information (for billing) will be handled by the bank's IVR, and is totally secure. Yeah, right... like dial tones aren't used for identifying numbers, and encryption is useless.

Today I got a call from VISA Mastercards card department. The number was a mobile number from Delhi. But the modus operandi was similar. The told me that I am using my credit card reliably for a long time so I have been selected as a VIP customer. They are offering me some gifts and promotions. First question I asked them was how will he prove that you are calling from VISA or mastercard. He said that his is not a fraud as he will not ask me for my credit card information or anything. So, I thought if he is not going to ask me for my credit card information then there is no harm in talking to him. Then he asked me to tell the color in which the VISA/Mastercard logo was made for verification that he is talking to the right person. I told him that. Then he told me that they will send a gift hamper from Axe (the deo company). That hamper contains a leather belt and a wrist watch and is worth Rs 4000. Then the second benefit was a VIP card from VISA which will give me 5-10% discount on various purchases for one year and the third and the most important benefit was a holiday voucher worth Rs 60000 to 70000. But as an esteemed customer they are giving it away to me for 7999 which will be cut automatically from credit card automatically and will reflect on the next statement. There I smelled a scam and started cross questioning him. Then he said that if you want you can cancel the offer anytime and all. When all this argument was going on I got a call from my wife. She has always been a savior and I put that guy's call on hold. The conversation with my wife was along one so looks like this guy got frustrated and dropped off. But he called me again after half an hour or so. This time I didn't pick up the call. I am going to give this guy a time of his life. One of my relatives is in Delhi police I am going to get this guys number tracked and have him beaten by police. I am also going to call VISA to tell them that people are making calls on their behalf so that they can issue an advisory regarding these calls.
